Welcome to Upside Academy!

A joyful place where kids ages 8-12 can dive into Legos, music, arts, and active play, screen-free and full of color!

Founded in 2024 by two brothers, Upside Academy was established to provide healthy, fun, and uplifting learning opportunities for children to enhance their creative, physical, and problem-solving skills in a personalized, safe, and supported environment.

Harnessing the skills and talents of its young founders, the core elements of the academy’s focus feature three core areas:

• LEGO Building – developing STEM planning and problem solving skills, fine motor and spatial skills, improved hand/eye coordination, and the ability to follow complex instructions independently. Children will achieve a sense of accomplishment and learn teamwork by building with others on a wide range of LEGO sets ranging from easy to difficult complexity levels, while having a blast!

• Music and Song - hands-on exploration of piano, ukulele, mandolin, and guitar. Children will discover the joy of music while building real skills including improved focus, confidence, and resilience. Musical training strengthens the mind, lifts the spirit, and sets children up to thrive!

• Fitness and Sports - participate in sports, movement, and active fun! Children will play a variety of games and fitness activities that keep bodies moving and minds engaged. They'll even receive personalized coaching tips from a state champion junior golfer, with activities thoughtfully designed to build more than just athletic ability, but creative thinking and visualization skills that extend far beyond the playing field. Whether they're discovering a new sport or leveling up their fitness, every child will feel energized, capable, and confident!
